If you’re looking for a stunning mountain location for your wedding or engagement photos—without the long hike or complicated logistics—Forget-Me-Not Pond is one of my favourite spots to recommend.
Located in beautiful Kananaskis Country, just a little over an hour from Calgary, this quiet turquoise pond is surrounded by mountains, evergreen trees, and soft open light. It’s easy to access, peaceful on weekdays, and unbelievably photogenic year-round.
I’ve photographed multiple couples here, and every session has had its own gorgeous vibe—sunset glow, moody clouds, blue-green reflections… this location truly does it all.

You don’t have to hike to get incredible scenery here. The pond is steps from the parking lot, which means:
