Photo Editing:
"Lightly Edited" vs "Detailed Edit" vs "Retouch Credit"
-
Lightly edited photos: The easiest way to describe these is “correct”: properly exposed, balanced, and look nice.
-
A detailed edit: receives a bit more polishing (mostly skin smoothing.)
-
A retouch credit is an a la carte edit on a photo. You can request the following: changes to measurements, removing people, swapping in a face in a group photo so that they're looking, fixing sunburns, moles, marks, scratches, baby acne, fixing clothing, changing backdrops/scenery etc... (I'm happy to make changes, upon request, however I will not change someone's body without being asked to : )

Retouch Credit:
In the photo below, the skin has been smoothed, the light under the right eye brightened, the waist subtly taken in, the bust enhanced, and the legs slimmed. This is just one example of what a retouch credit can do.
Over the years, brides have used their credits for everything from digitally straightening pearls on a dress, fixing a sunburn, or removing a red wine stain, to compositing a child’s face so they’re looking at the camera. Backdrop swaps are always a fun option too—I’m currently adding a volcano to some wedding photos!
Retouch credits are also wonderful for newborn sessions, such as editing out supporting hands to ensure tricky poses look natural and safe.

Additional detailed edits: $20/photo
Additional composite edits: $50/photo
